The Korean Society of Radiology hosted the 5th Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology in 1987 and the 1st Asia Pacific
Congress of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology in 1993. The 11th International Congress of Ultrasonic
Examination of the Breast (ICIEB) and Congress of Breast Imaging were hosted by the Korean Society of Breast Imaging in
1999. The Korean Society of Neuroradiology and Head and Neck Radiology hosted the AOCNHNR and WFTIN in 2001.
The Asian Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR) was held in Seoul in September 2003. The Korean Society of
Musculoskeletal Radiology hosted the 6th Asian Skeletal Society meeting in September 2004. In 2006, KSR supported the
11th Congress of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB 2006) which was hosted by the
Korean Society of Medical Ultrasound and World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB).
KSR had successfully held the 12th Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR). Besides hosting many International
congresses, members of the KSR have actively participated in International meetings including RSNA, ECR and ARRS.
